Skullpanda The Feast Begins Series Shaking Tips

Calling all Skullpanda collectors and blind box enthusiasts! The moment we've been waiting for is finally here. The latest series, "The Feast Begins," has arrived, and let me tell you—it is breathtaking. The level of detail, the elegant gothic-luxe aesthetic, the sheer artistry... this series is not just a release; it's an event. It feels almost too premium and exquisitely crafted to be hidden away inside a box!

But we all know the thrill and the challenge of the hunt. That heart-pounding moment when you pick up a box, give it a gentle shake, and hope the tactile feel whispers the secrets of the treasure within. To help you on your quest for your most-wanted characters, I've spent hours meticulously weighing and shaking to compile this ultimate, detailed shaking guide.

We'll break it down from the lightest to the heaviest, so you can walk into that store (or unbox your online order) with confidence.

🟢 122.5g - The Dinner Knife

  • Weight & Feel: This is one of the lightest in the series. The box feels almost hollow.

  • Shaking Test:

    • All Six Sides: Completely full. When you shake it, the figure does not move or shift at all. It's locked in place.

    • Sound: You won't hear any figure rattling or loose parts. The only sound is the distinct, sandy rustle of the desiccant packet bouncing around in the empty space.

  • Key Identifier: The complete immobility and the lone sound of the desiccant.

🟢 123.5g - The Knife Rest (HIDDEN GEM / NEARLY CERTAIN!)

  • Weight & Feel: Very similar in weight to The Dinner Knife.

  • Shaking Test:

    • Tactile Feel: This is a MAJOR head's up! The figure creates a huge, unmistakable protrusion on the left and right sides of the box, about a quarter of the way up from the bottom. The plastic blister inside is visibly straining, making the box feel slightly "puffy" or bulged.

    • Space: The front and back faces are incredibly empty. Top and bottom are completely full and stuck fast.

  • Key Identifier: The obvious side bulges. This is practically an open box situation if you feel for it!

🟢 124g - The Silver Fork

  • Weight & Feel: A tad heavier, but still in the light category.

  • Shaking Test:

    • All Six Sides: The figure itself has no room to move around.

    • Sound: However, the desiccant is VERY loud inside, creating a lot of noise that can be misleading.

    • Tactile Feel: There's no side protrusion. Instead, you'll feel a distinct press from front to back, right around the area of the Skullpanda's right ear on the cover art.

  • Key Identifier: No shake, loud desiccant, and that specific front-to-back pressure point on the ear.

🟢 125g - The Caddy Spoon (ANOTHER CERTAIN PICK!)

  • Weight & Feel: Light and firmly packed.

  • Shaking Test:

    • Space: The figure is wedged tightly on all four sides—no wiggle room left or right, front or back.

    • Shaking: However, when you shake it up and down, there is significant space. You'll hear a dull, muffled "thud" as the figure and internal plastic hit the top and bottom. It's not a sharp sound.

  • Key Identifier: Tight on the sides, but a distinct, heavy up-and-down shake. Another one that's easy to identify!

🟢 126g - The Crumb Scoop

  • Weight & Feel: The heaviest of the lightweights.

  • Shaking Test:

    • Up & Down: The figure is fixed and won't move vertically.

    • Sound: The desiccant is, again, very loud and clear.

    • Front & Back: When shaking front-to-back, you'll hear a faint, sharp, single-point tapping sound.

    • Left & Right: There's a lot of space here, and you'll also hear a similar single, sharp point tapping on the sides.

  • Key Identifier: Immobile up/down, loud desiccant, and those distinct, pinpoint taps when shaking front/back and left/right.

🟡 The Middle Weights (Approx. 130g - 159g)

This is the tricky middle ground where weights start to cluster. Pay close attention to the type of movement and sound.

🟡 130g - The Aspic Server

  • Weight & Feel: A solid step up from the light group.

  • Shaking Test:

    • Space: When shaking from any of the four main directions, there is a small but noticeable space.

    • Sound: The most prominent sound is the loud rattling of the information card hitting the box. The sound of the actual figure moving is very minimal—it's more of a loose, general shifting feel than a distinct "knock."

  • Key Identifier: Clear card rattle and a general, loose shake with very little figure noise.

🟡 134g - The Grape Scissors (HIDDEN GEM / NEARLY CERTAIN!)

  • Weight & Feel: Feels sturdy and packed.

  • Shaking Test:

    • Space: The entire figure is completely stuck and has no space to move.

    • Tactile Feel: On the lower fifth of the box's left and right sides, there is a very clear protrusion that creates a curved bulge. The whole unit feels like it wants to rotate when you twist the box gently.

  • Key Identifier: Complete immobility combined with that distinct low, curved protrusion on the sides.

🟡 147.5g - The Silver Claret Jug

  • Weight & Feel: Noticeably heavier and substantial.

  • Shaking Test:

    • Up & Down: Will not budge. You'll hear the large desiccant packet moving.

    • The Four Sides: Here's the clue: there is significant space on all four sides. When you shake, you get a very loud, heavy, and distinct "thud-thud-thud" as the figure itself knocks against the walls of its plastic insert.

  • Key Identifier: Top/bottom immobility with loud desiccant, contrasted with violent and loud knocking on the sides.

🟡 154g - The Sugar Tongs

  • Weight & Feel: Heavy and incredibly tight.

  • Shaking Test:

    • All Six Sides: Absolutely packed. Zero space whatsoever.

    • Tactile Feel: This is a professional at creating pressure points. The left and right sides are diagonally opposed, creating pressure from top on one side to bottom on the other. You can also feel a clear protrusion on the front, around the cover art's right hand.

  • Key Identifier: The complete lack of movement and the complex, diagonal pressing pattern. You can clearly feel it! ❗

🟡 159g - The Egg Cup (HIDDEN GEM / NEARLY CERTAIN!)

  • Weight & Feel: Heavy, solid, and bursting.

  • Shaking Test:

    • All Six Sides: Like The Sugar Tongs, it is completely immobile.

    • Tactile Feel: The front and back faces are pushed outwards in the middle, creating a obvious bulge. The entire box feels round, full, and like the figure is trying to escape.

  • Key Identifier: The immobility and the unmistakable, centered bulge on the front and back.

🔴 The Heavyweight Champions (Approx. 182g - 188.5g)

You'll know these the second you pick them up. They are in a league of their own.

🔴 182g - The Napkin

  • Weight & Feel: Very heavy. It feels like a solid little brick, a real "dead weight."

  • Shaking Test:

    • Up & Down: There is a lot of space, and when you shake, you feel a very heavy, pronounced "THUD"—it's a powerful, weighty impact.

    • The Four Sides: There's a little space, and you'll hear some knocking, but the overwhelming sensation is the sheer weight and that massive up-and-down shake.

  • Key Identifier: Extreme weight combined with a heavy, deep up-and-down shake.

🔴 188.5g - The Spoon Warmer

  • Weight & Feel: The undisputed heavyweight champion of the series. It just feels dense.

  • Shaking Test:

    • Up & Down: Almost no space. It's very tight vertically.

    • The Four Sides: In stark contrast, there is massive space on all four sides. When you shake it, you are greeted with a loud, chaotic, and relentless "BANG BANG BANG" as the heavy figure crashes into the walls. It's the loudest shaker in the series by far.

  • Key Identifier: Top-tier weight, tight vertically, but sounds like a maraca from the sides due to the violent knocking.
