ATF Shipping Update: What U.S.-China Tariffs Mean for Your Figurine Orders

Important Update: New U.S. - China Tariffs

Starting May 2, 2025, the U.S. government will eliminate the $800 de minimis exemption for imports from China. This means that every shipment from China, regardless of value, will now be subject to import tariffs.

Under the new policy, each order will be taxed at one of the following:

1. 120% of the order’s total value (with a potential future increase/decrease), or
2. A flat fee of $100 per shipment (rising to $200 per shipment in June 2025).

How This Affects You

To help you understand the new tariffs' impact, here are two examples:

1. If you buy a $1 figurine, you’ll pay $1.2 for import tax. That means your total cost becomes $2.2, not including shipping.
2. If you buy a $100 figurine, the new tariffs will add an additional $100, bringing your total to $225, not including shipping.
   

ATF’s Responses

Because all of our products are shipped directly from China, the newly imposed tariffs will inevitably impact both pricing and delivery timeline for our U.S. customers. Despite these changes, ATF remains unwavering in our commitment to transparency, fairness, and exceptional customer care—values we’ve upheld since day one.

With careful consideration, we’ve outlined the following measures to help navigate this transition together:

✅ U.S. Orders placed before April 16, 2025:

• We’ve got you covered. We will fully absorb any potential tariff costs and make sure your order is delivered without extra charges.

🚨 U.S. Orders placed on or after April 17, 2025:

(Please note: The following measures are subject to change as the tariff landscape evolves. We will continue to keep you informed in case of any updates.)

• Pricing adjustments will be applied to our products to help offset part of the new tariffs, while we will cover the rest.
  • This is in addition to our existing standard shipping charge ($6 for orders under $100; free for orders over $100).
    
  • Rest assured, the amount shown at checkout is all you’ll need to pay - no surprise tariff bills upon delivery.
    

• Shipping Time:
  • Orders may experience minor shipping delays due to expected U.S. customs clearance holdups.
  • As we are exploring alternative shipping options, we might adjust shipping methods to avoid excessive tariffs (of course, legally). While this change helps protect your wallet, it may cause longer delivery times as we consolidate and optimize shipments.
    

Non-U.S. orders will NOT be affected by the new U.S.-China tariffs or shipping policy changes.

To lock in today’s pricing and avoid the upcoming tariffs, we recommend placing your orders on or before April 16, 2025. This will ensure your shipment arrives before the new tariffs and shipping policy take effect.
